About Harlav
Hi! I’m a California-licensed Professional Engineer (PE) with a background in mechanical engineering and professional experience working in engineering and public-sector projects.
I enjoy helping students understand math, physics, engineering, and problem-solving in a way that goes beyond simply memorizing formulas. My approach is patient, practical, and focused on explaining why something works so that students can build confidence and solve problems independently.
I can help with topics such as algebra, geometry, trigonometry, calculus, physics, and engineering-related subjects. I’m especially comfortable breaking down difficult concepts into simple, step-by-step explanations and connecting classroom concepts to real-world engineering applications.
