I truly enjoy helping out families and children learn as I enjoy learning as well. I stated with teaching my younger siblings mathematics and was inspired to start teaching other children in my community through mutual friends. This drive combined with my love for swimming, I became a Water Safety Instructor for my community and found excitement in the happiness that is created within these families simply through learning to swim and being confident in the water.
I have tutored math to students since high school from levels elementary math to Algebra 2. I am proud to say that I have immensely helped these families. Since thenI have also taugt ages 2- 60 the basics of swimming which was a big challenge considering the type of tutoring and attention needed. It was very fun to learn around these challenges in order to teach my students.

First I would ask a few questions to get to know the new student like their favorite subject. I would also ask the student thri favorite hobbies to make them feel comfortable. I would then ask them a few questions about what they are struggling with and which parts. Specifically the areas they feel they need help with.
I have worked with all types of students ages 2-60. I am mostly experienced with ages 5-12 but became a very skilled instructor for my adult swimming class ages 18-60. My favorite students are those who are at a more teachable age, 5-12.

Since my freshman year of college I purchased a Passion Planner and it has become a lifestyle for me. I value how Passion Planner has given me the ability to create goals and exceed them, be mindful and reflect on my days. Recently I have finished my second year using Passion Planner and got to reflect on the year that I have completed. I am immensely proud of how much I have grown, accomplished, and appreciated and it makes me more motivated to accomplish more this upcoming academic year.
