About Isai
I've studied upper level math courses, such as linear algebra, multivariable calculus, and differential equation, which have given me a much stronger foundation of understanding mathematics, than most people. In addition, I have personal methods that I have developed, that makes math easier to work through.
My favorite thing about mathematics is when I struggle with math, but then have that "Ah ha" moment. It truly is a great experience. And that's my favorite thing to bring onto the students I tutor. Once they have help and are able to find the missing puzzle to keep going on a math problem, math,itself, becomes more enjoyable and pleasing. That is one thing I enjoy about my work.
I have taken courses from algebra, calculus I, II, III, differential equations, linear algebra, and many more other math courses. This gives me the opportunity to be fluent in mathematics

I begin by asking a student what they feel most comfortable on with regards to the subject being studied. This will give me an idea of their strong suits. Then I'd ask in what parts of the subject do they feel least comfortable in. Once that has been stated, I would create 2 example problem, go through the problem step-by-step (making sure not to skip steps), and provide detailed explanation as to why a certain math operation was performed. From there, I would have the student do a required problem, and be alongside them to provide guidance, if needed.

Isai is an incredible tutor! He is so patient and incredibly intelligent. He has helped me on multiple occasions regardless of what he has going on and always works through problems with me and helps guide me to the answers. He explains concepts extremely well and is such an amazing teacher. He taught me concepts in my Calculus class that my professor was unable to get across to me. I highly highly recommend Isai!!
Very friendly and easy to communicate with. Responds within a very short amount of time. Gave clear and concise feedback and was able to show me multiple different ways to solve a problem, as well as several tips, rules and techniques to make solving future problems easier. Also being a native Spanish speaker it was very helpful that he could speak fluent Spanish and English so that he could explain things further in Spanish if I could not understand.

Details
Starting off, I would charge $35 per hour session. However, as a first time guest, I would be willing to waive the $35 charge for the first session, in order to see if I am suitable for the position.
