About Pam
I have taught computer applications at the career college level for 17 years, and I was an adult learner myself. I understand that just because I "get" a concept, many people don't, so I find real-world examples of the uses for what they are trying to learn, to make it easier to understand.
I was Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) certified in some of the MS Office Applications as far back as Office 2000, and have been teaching them ever since. I finally decided to share my expertise with the software beyond the classroom because there are so many people who need the knowledge and experience but don't necessarily want to go through a college class. If I can help them reach their goals, I feel a sense of accomplishment and satisfaction.
I love working with people and seeing the "light come on" when they actually really get it. Helping someone improve their skills, helps them in their careers. It is amazing to help someone get over hurdles that have been holding them back so they can reach their goals.
BS degree in Computer information systems and I have been teaching classes on these subjects for 17 years.
For the web development, I have taught html and web design basics at the career college level for 17 years, as well as doing sites for people when I was still in college myself.
