About George
The proof is in the singing. Not only do I teach practical vocal techniques, but I also practice what I preach. For over 20 years I’ve learned from several vocal coaches and I’ve discovered what really works and what doesn’t.
Nobody is limited to a specific vocal range or ability. Anyone can sing from a low Bass up to Soprano (or even the whistle register) with enough practice and proper technique. Just take a listen to some of my audio samples and student reviews and you’ll see that it’s possible for anyone to master their singing voice!
My voice coaching is based on Scuola del Bel Canto, but that doesn’t mean I only teach opera singers. The same foundations taught in opera can be applied to any style of music (including rock, rap, soul, metal, pop, country, etc.). In fact, the same techniques taught in Bel Canto can even be applied to heavy rock singing to achieve a distorted or raspy style vocal without damaging your voice.
Since I teach students all over the world, it’s possible to do lessons over webcam (unless you’re local and wish to pursue private 1-on-1 lessons). Certifications or college degrees don’t guarantee the vocal coach’s ability to teach voice in a practical way. I’ve seen many singers lose their voice (sometimes permanently) from certified singing teachers who themselves can’t demonstrate the techniques they’re teaching.
Every student that starts with me has a dream of one day being able to sing songs from their favorite artists. They believe that hitting high notes, or singing in a certain style is elusive. Also, many coaches will tell you to just “find your voice” or “sing YOUR high note” instead.
While I don’t entirely disagree with that statement from other teachers, I feel it’s a lazy way of approaching it. Anyone can improve their singing range (even if you’re a low Baritone wanting to sing high female Soprano). Also, by mastering their voices, anyone can learn how to sing different styles easily and effortlessly (all while truly finding their voices).
However, once we work on developing the student’s voice and training proper vocal techniques, the student always fall in love with singing once they see how easy it is to actually nail high notes or sing in particular styles.
Seeing them fall in love and master their voice is what lights me up. It’s truly a passion for music. When you’re on stage singing for people and you see their heads turn or faces light up from singing an incredible performance, you can’t help but become addicted to entertaining others with your voice.
After becoming a professional singer and performing live concerts, theatre plays, choir performances, and karaoke, I’ve been asked by hundreds of people to teach them how I’m able to do what I do (i.e. sing high notes, scream, vibrato, etc.).
Eventually I put together a systematic program to help take any singer (whether beginner or seasoned) to extreme new heights in their vocal ability.
No one is born a great singer. I get that audiences don’t see the amount of work and dedication that goes on behind the scenes whenever I sing a really difficult song. Even though I sing those hard songs effortlessly and naturally, it wasn’t a gift I was simply born with. It’s taught, it’s learned, and it’s something that takes time and dedication.
Since I was 6 years old I’ve had various forms of specialized voice training. The list includes, but isn’t limited to, choir, theatre, private voice lessons, studio and concert performances, etc. I’ve spent over $100,000 on my voice and have dissected what’s true and false in singing theory.

First we’ll go over an initial meet-and-greet (about 15-30 minutes long) to go over an introduction, set expectations, and to answer any of your questions.
In order to ensure best results for your singing success, lessons are at least once a week (for 1-hour each session). Also, I’d ask that each student sets aside 30-60 minutes a day for practice (at least 5 days a week).
For your convenience, I’ll pre-record all of your practice warmups that you can use at home. These warmups are always tailored to where you are with your abilities (custom singing exercises). There will also be lesson notes and other study material to help you along your journey of developing a strong voice.
During the beginning of our coaching, you can send videos of yourself practicing for critique. If you’re unsure whether you’re doing things correctly, or if you’re experiencing discomfort while singing, you can send me a recording of yourself. That way I can critique your technique and advise what you’re doing correctly and incorrectly.
The majority of my students fall under the category of “singing lessons.” However, the same system used in singing is the same system used in voice acting or public speaking.
Proper technique is proper technique, regardless of how you use it. I teach singing lessons, public speaking, voice acting, or anything that requires the machine of the voice to be used. Even world renowned public speaker Anthony Robbins still takes voice lessons. It’s how you maintain a healthy voice.
If you’re serious about taking care of your voice, then hiring a vocal coach is an absolute necessity.
Make sure that the person you’re looking to take vocal lessons from can demonstrate their abilities. If you want to sing higher notes, make sure they can demonstrate that. If you want to scream, make sure they can demonstrate that. Basically, seek a mentor who can not only talk the talk, but also walk the walk.
Look for someone that not only knows the textbook technical side of things, but can also teach in practical ways that makes sense. Remember that textbook information can sometimes be wrong. Vocal coaches can sometimes be wrong. However, if you can find someone that can be practical about what they’re teaching, then you have a winner. That’s also why it’s important to make sure that your voice teacher can demonstrate what they’re teaching.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Can the vocal coach demonstrate their vocal abilities? Especially in the style you’re looking for (i.e. screaming, high notes, chest voice, falsetto, etc.).
Can the vocal coach teach a safe system that guarantees the ability to sing or perform night after night without losing their voice?
Does the voice teacher have students that can also demonstrate the ability to sing well?

Details
Standard pricing for individual lessons are $65 per 1-hour sessions. It’s cheaper to enroll in monthly courses for only $200 per month.
Yes, I understand cancellations come up. It’s not like I’m going to charge you the full $200 if you’re unable to make a couple lessons during a month. Communication is important and due to my passion for singing, I will work with all of my students. Every student will receive the same red-carpet experience.
