About Mariela
Songwriting is all about self-expression without judgment, freeing the mind through a creative process, building confidence, and turning your life experiences into art. My goal is to help you brainstorm ideas, find your voice, discover your unique style, and consult you through the delightful process of making your dream song come true!
I love witnessing others get inspired! Most people have talent within them and just need a little push or someone to guide them through the colorful journey of songwriting and producing. I love being able to be that coach and see my students reach their full potential.
I taught Music in an after-school program in Brooklyn to grades K-5.
I recieved my Music degree from SUNY Plattsburgh in 2018. I then taught music to grades K-5th for a year during an after-school program. I also created and hosted a Collaborative Songwriting Workshop for adults!

I love getting to know them, their background in music, and what goals they wish to accomplish. I enjoy creating an environment for them free of judgement and filled with patience and creativity. Songwriting can be very therapeutic for many of my students and I like bringing out emotions within them so that they can express & release them into music.

Mariela is an incredible songwriter with so much expertise with music and the writing process. In a songwriting workshop she teaches, she inspired everyone in the class even on the first day. We all felt so creative, free, and NOT JUDGED in the atmosphere she created. She produces well-thought-out, unique tracks. She even helped me mix a personal project of mine and it turned out amazing! I feel so inspired working with Mariela, and she will definitely make you a better songwriter and teach you everything you need to know about production, even if you're a beginner.
Her shining and kind personality is just the icing on the cake! Thank you so much Mariela!Stellar, really helped me unleash a creative outlet I didnt know I had.
