About Madeleine
I started swimming at the age of 3 and haven't stopped. I competed from kindergarten all the way through high school. After high school I took a break from my own career to teach the youth water safety skills and proper technique for swimming.
I am completing a Bachelors Degree in Exercise Science with a focus in coaching. I am also CPR, AED and First Aid certified. I am certified as a swim coach through Ellis and Associates and will obtain my WSI in March 2018.

The first lesson will be an opportunity to meet eachother and evaluate the skills of the swimmer. We will discuss the swimmers goals, how we can acheive them and get to know eachother so were both comfortable completing the lesson.
I have worked with individuals of all ages. I have taught group swim lessons and private swim lessons. I have trained athletes for triathlons and helped aid in individual rehab processes.

Maddie taught my son, who loved being in the water but was also a little scared of it. She was very patient and tailored the lessons for him. She made the experience fun for him and both the confidence and safety skills he learned continue to give me peace of mind. She shared her passion for swimming and he he really took to it, even joining a kids swim team! Maddie is a wonderful instructor and a pleasure to work with.
Maddie was a great support in overcoming my fears with the water due to past trauma. Maddie, was kind, knowledgeable, encouraging, and patient and really push me to do my best every day. Maddie gave me the confidence I needed. The personal attention and expertise of her coaching made it a wonderful experience. I received great training tips from an experienced instructor. Maddie was able to design a training program based on my progress and my ability. Maddie, thank you for making me the swimmer I am today and helping me so I can keep improving.
She was extremely patient with both of my children, knowledgeable, prompt, and professional.
