About Brianna

Hello everyone! I am a college student very passionate about teaching the English language to children in need. Often times, when children aren't surrounded by the English language at home, it is a slightly challenging for them to pick up the language. That is why I became passionate about teaching children. I have experience teaching swim lessons for 4 years, and I believe from this experience it helps me teach other disciplines too.

I love seeing the smile on children's faces when they finally get passed that one challenge they've been working on for weeks or months at a time. This shows that they are growing and all children love it when they finally understand something.

I started teaching by teaching swim lessons at the YWCA. I realized it was a passion I had and have loved it since then!

I have studied the English language in school for 13+ years.

About the lesson

When I have a new student, the first thing I do is get to know them. It is important to have a connection with your students so they can understand and learn faster. It is also a chance for me to see what type of learner they are!
