About Nadine
Hello, I am Nadine. I have tutoring experience teaching an autistic teenager. Though it was difficult at first, I am improving her confidence in learning important literary and English concepts. I have introduced her to concepts such as the main idea and reading comprehension. I am very good at English and am publishing a book of poetry this summer. I have taken several high school classes in English and Literature. I will go on to pursue a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education with a minor in Literature. I have been trained to be a tutor for those with disabilities and children by Learner Web.

I ensure that students understand the concepts that I introduce and work with them. A typical lesson plan will include a prompt and then several exercises. If a student passes the exercises, I assess their understanding by asking them if they understand the material, and then thoroughly review what we go over. What sets me apart as a tutor is that I make sure that students understand the concepts that are taught and reinforce these concepts through sufficient practice. The lessons are for grades K-4 and middle school. I am a college freshman.
