About Maria
I am a dedicated and hard-working academic scholar who has just finished their A-levels at an independent school in London. I am studying PPE at the University of Manchester in September. I achieved all As in my A-levels taking Maths, Biology and Economics. I took 13 GCSEs and I achieved A*s in all of them (including Level 2 Further Maths). Tutoring has always been my passion which is why I have 4 years of tutoring experience already including a few months of SEN tutoring experience. I have worked at First Class Learning, 11PlusExams and as an in-school tutor.

I am a GCSE Maths and Biology Tutor with 4 years of tutoring experience. I have experience tutoring for 11+ maths. I tend to teach 1-hour lessons. I understand the importance of personalised and tailored learning. This is why I help the student create a personalised lesson plan with active engagement during my lessons. I make sure there are regular assessments to track their progress. When tutoring, I make sure to break down the topic into smaller and manageable sections and use visual aids to help learning progress.
