About Alia
As a board-certified psychiatrist with over 14 years of experience, I have dedicated my career to providing comprehensive mental health care to individuals across the lifespan. My clinical practice has spanned diverse populations, including children, adolescents, and adults, allowing me to gain deep insight into the complexities of mental health issues at different developmental stages.
In addition to my clinical work, I am passionate about psychoeducation and empowering families to navigate the challenges of mental health. I have facilitated numerous workshops on family psychoeducation, covering topics such as parenting strategies, anger management techniques, and addressing sleep and eating issues in children. Furthermore, I specialize in providing psycheducation to families coping with a child or adolescent with a mental disorder, offering support, guidance, and practical tools to promote understanding and resilience within the family unit.
With a holistic approach to mental health and a commitment to ongoing education and support, I strive to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals and families impacted by mental health challenges.
