About Chester
I am an eclectic thinker and teacher. I bring practical experience and material to facilitate learning. Hip-hop is one way I teach Shakespeare and poetry standards. Hip-hop has also been a way I introduce students to Biblical literature.
I've been a teacher since 2011, teaching in K12 and college settings. I've been a youth director, counselor at a juvenile detention center, sports coach, and teen mentor at the Boys and Girls Club. I am a professional writer and editor, with several works published.
I have a PhD in Psychoanalysis and Theology. I have a BA in English and Asian Studies.
