About Shahahabuddin
Currently, I am a doctoral candidate in the department of chemical engineering, Monash University, Melbourne. Prior to joining for Ph.D., I completed my Master of Philosophy and a bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Adelaide, and Dhaka University of Engineering & Technology. During my career, I have had the opportunity to teach several chemical and mechanical engineering subjects for undergraduate courses, which include Heat and mass transfer, Fluid mechanics, chemical thermodynamics, transport phenomena, power plant engineering and so on

I view myself primarily as a facilitator of learning, rather than as an expert who simply delivers information to the students. Keeping this in mind, I prefer to teach using student cantered learning technique. I strongly believe that the goal of education should be to encourage seeking answers. I seek to facilitate this advancement of knowledge, and the main theme of my teaching philosophy is reasoned thought.
