About Ella
My name is Ella, i am originally from Bath, but am currently studying at The University of Leeds.During my studiesI have developed a passion for cellular biology and animal behaviour. I also thoroughly enjoy breaking down large complex concepts into small easy to understand sections for students. I find great joy in tutoring biology and sharing my passion for science with the next generation of biologists !

My lessons last from 45-1h and usually include a short 20 minute lesson, accompanied by a powerpoint in which I explain the key concepts. we will then work through some interactive problems to test your understanding and locate any hole in your knowledge.
The second half of my lessons are usually dedicated to questions relating to the topic.
after all of my lessons I record areas that the students are not confident in and we begin with these problems in the next lesson.
Although i have lessons plans i am aware that everyone works differently so I am very flexible with my teaching style and strive to find a learning style that is effective and engaging for all.
