About Joseph
My name is Joseph, and I have been interested in Politics since I was about 8 or 9. During my A-levels, I had the opportunity to learn in depth about the subject that I had been interested in for so long. Whilst I thoroughly enjoyed it, there were bits that I struggled with, which helped me understand that, despite my love for what I was learning, it could still be difficult. Having now been at university for three years and completing various paid work experiences and internships in the political sphere, I want to be able to help students like me who need a bit of support with their A-level politics.

I am a Politics A-Level tutor studying Politics and International Studies, and Hispanic Studies at the University of Warwick. My approach combines clear teaching of core concepts, [e.g. parliamentary sovereignty, ideologies, comparative UK/US politics], with regular past paper practice and detailed, mark-scheme-based feedback, helping students build both strong analytical understanding and confident, exam-ready essay technique. I keep lessons current by linking topics to real political developments, and typically run 60-minute weekly sessions tailored to each student's needs. I work with Year 12 and 13 students studying Edexcel Politics A-Level.
