About Katie
My name is Katie and I started my journey in psychology 5 years ago. I am just about to graduate from my second psychology programme with a BA(Hons) where I studied part-time.
I’ve always been interested in how the brain works, and why we act the way we do. Throughout my studies, I’ve come to love some specific areas in this vast field, such as; Social Psychology, Development, Neuropsychology and behavioural endocrinology.
I have worked in organisational psychology for a number of years, however, have always enjoyed training and teaching my favourite elements of my job. I was lucky enough to tutor a girl with special needs who was studying Psychology for GCSEs, and found my passion for teaching.
I am planning to progress into a PhD programme where I hope to become a lecturer/professor at the end of my studies.
