About Sunita
My name is Sunita. I chose to be a teacher because it’s inspiring for me personally. My approach to teaching is student-centred where students have somewhat autonomy over their learning. I prefer group work over individual to help students learn the importance of team work as well as to achieve social capabilities which are two life skills of NSW curriculum. For individual lessons, I like to scaffold the content that students can navigate the desired goals.

I prepare lessons for 40 minutes (year 7-10 and year 11/12) according to the needs of students. I like to include ICT to engage students. I always scaffold to make the concept easy to understand, comprehensive and doable for the students.
