About Madeleine

I am studying finance at NYU Stern and have received top marks in these classes in both high school and college. I have also tutored students of every level in these classes. Whether you're studying for an AP exam, a final, or something else, I can help boost your skills.

About the lesson

My lessons are built around understanding, not memorization. I start each session by identifying where a concept breaks down for the student, then work through it using real-world examples — whether that's analyzing a market structure through a current news story or walking through financial statements from an actual company. As an NYU Stern Finance and History student, I connect theory to context in a way that makes it stick.
A typical lesson opens with a quick check-in on recent material, moves into targeted concept work, and closes with practice problems we solve together. Homework is always intentional — never busywork.
My lessons are suited for high school students in AP Economics or introductory business courses, as well as college undergraduates in principles of micro or macroeconomics, accounting fundamentals, corporate finance, or business strategy. Whether you're preparing for an exam or trying to finally understand something that never quite clicked, I meet you at your level and move at your pace.
