About Ankit
I’ve been practicing photography since I started high school, I became the school photographer for two years and won a Photography competition for students in the Peel region. I was motivated and started shooting my friends and made connections to photograph bigger clients. I entered the School of Image Arts at Toronto Metropolitan University and started studying Fine Art Photography. Focused on portraiture and film photography, learned to shoot with 4x5, 35mm & 120mm. During my studies I’ve learned to explore lens based images and break rules while also following them.

Creativity is like a muscle that needs to be trained to grow stronger. Once you’re able to learn your tools (cameras) it will be easier for you to express your creativity in lens based work.
In my lessons I will make sure you understand how your camera works, the rules and techniques used in contemporary photography, editing and finalizing your photographs and lastly, help you build a portfolio to present your works.
