I am a graduate from Royal College of Art, having just completed my MA in Print with a distinction in my dissertation. Before which, I received a first class BA (Hons) from Newcastle University in Fine Art.
I am available to give Fine Art tutoring sessions to students who are looking to improve their portfolios in preparation for University. I am happy to also give advice or tutorials for those working on A Level, GCSE or BFA/BA work. I have been on the interview panel for both BA in Fine Art at Newcastle, and also MA in Print at the Royal College of Art.
I will make suggestions for works within the contemporary art frame as well as give some directional advice for all students looking for an informed discussion about a body of work.
I have been tutoring for the past year as part of the RCA's teaching placement programme. I am very keen to help out students that need a push in the right direction, as I know how difficult it is to get good advice when you're taking your first steps as an artist!
I have given artist's talks and many tutorials about my own practice as well as others at the RCA, Plymouth College of Art, as well as places as far as Luxembourg.
