About Anna
Hi! I'm Anna. I'm a writer and bookseller with a First Class degree in English from the University of Cambridge, and an MFA in Scriptwriting from RCSSD. I love English literature in all its forms, as a reader and a writer, and am dedicated to helping students expand their own love of literature.
I had an amazing time studying English at university, where I won multiple academic awards and scholarships, simply by pursuing my enjoyment of and interest in the subject. I am committed to helping Sixth Form students access the same experience.
I offer assistance on all aspects of the UCAS and Oxbridge admissions processes, from Personal Statements to interview prep and essay writing. This is always tailored to the student's specific needs, interests and opportunities for growth in skill, knowledge and confidence.
I specialise in drama, essay writing, close reading and critical thinking.

My lessons focus on the enjoyment of literature. Each student has their own idiosyncratic interests, and I work to capitalise on these, helping the student feel confident in their ability to discuss literature at a higher level.
Each lesson is tailored to the student's individual needs, and can focus on whatever will enable them to become the best possible candidate. I am happy to offer guidance, mock-interviews, broader tutorial-style discussion, redrafting, etc..
While I am new to this site (!), I have three years of tutoring experience, during which time I have helped multiple students achieve offers to study English at Oxford, Cambridge and other Russell Group universities.
