About Jess
I am very understanding and patient, because I am aware how daunting it can be to be in a Zoom call (especially for the first time!) with someone you don't know. As someone with a background of anxiety, I am passionate about working slowly through concepts if needed, and prioritising mental health.
As a first class BA English graduate, and current MA English student, I am truly passionate about my subject and love sharing knowledge with students. It is my favourite thing! It means the world to me, and I hope you can explore the diversity of English with me!

As an experienced tutor, I can confidently say that my students come out of their English exams feeling satisfied and content with their experience. Whether you are looking for top-band grades, or you wish for a comfortable pass, I am more than happy to help you along in your journey. I teach ages 11-18, ensuring that skills for later life are developed, too.
If you're interested in sessions with me, that's amazing! We'll have a 15-20 minute taster session together before we start anything too serious. This will be a solidification of contact details and further needs, as well as payment details (the boring bit!). If you're happy to continue, our typical sessions will be an hour long, unless you opt for more or less. This is entirely adjustable based on student needs!
