About Jedidah
I am passionate about philosophy, maths and science as studying these subjects has nurtured my critical thinking skills and problem solving. I have a soft spot for the humanities subjects as I adore creative writing and expressing pictures through words. On the other hand, the technical skills gleaned from studying maths and computing align with my perspective as a student athlete. As a national level sprinter, my routine and approach to learning new skills has been structured around my hobbies and free time in a way that allows me to flourish academically and on the track. I am also as passionate about helping children with learning new things themselves, which motivated me to become a volunteer teacher of English & Maths in the Philippines during the summer of 2025.

After 3 years of supporting primary and high school students in understanding complex concepts in Maths, English & Science, as well attending Maths & English tuition myself between the ages of 4 - 16, I am well versed in techniques & strategies that students of all ages respond well to. As a current weekly classroom tutor with an established company, I know when to adapt a lesson plan or teaching method to tailor to an individual child and this method has brought results of up to 60% + improvement in grades.
