About Kayli
I love working one-on-one with students and have years of experience doing so.
I worked with college students as a Teaching Assistant in college for history classes I did well in (both U.S. and world history classes). I often worked one-on-one with students to improve their research, understanding, and writing in those classes.
Once I graduated, I taught both history and English classes to middle schoolers. In my history classes, we learned how to be dig deep into history by interpreting multiple sources, drawing conclusions, and clearly expressing those conclusions in discussions and writing.

I love working one-on-one with students to understand their strengths and weaknesses, and then create lesson plans that work with their needs.
I specialize in helping students better understand, discuss, and write about history through a lesson plan that moves through modeling, guided practice, and independent practice.
I work with students in 6-12 grade, as well as undergraduate college students majoring or taking classes in the humanities.
