Philosophy begins in a state of bewilderment about the state of things. One way of responding to bewilderment is despair and self-destruction. Another way is through understanding.
Philosophy is about developing a calm, contemplative, open stance that allows one to understand rather than react to the world, and then to act in a way that increases well-being.
My teaching approach is conversational, relaxed, and tailored to your questions and goals.
