About Wilmarie

I am a 29-year-old child of God, mother of a soon-to-be toddler. I am a passionate foundation phase teacher. I wanted to become a foundation phase teacher because I admired my Sunday school teacher. I love planning daily tasks and doing them accordingly.

About the lesson

I use PowerPoints with pictures, songs, and movements to remember phonics.
I believe in teaching practical reading every day to enhance reading skills in the foundation phase.
I love mathematics, especially number concepts.
I use different wording, concrete objects, and strategies to enhance number concepts.
