About Brenda
I draw from a very young age, like all artists! My first drawing classes I took in my own home drawing and painting with my father. He made some nice paintings and drawings and I always tried to finish them and make them just as well as him! I have studies in Art History from the University of Girona, traditional drawing and mixed techniques as well as courses in design and illustration. I have participated in different competitions and exhibitions with foreign students at the Punto Áureo School of Visual Arts (Lloret de Mar). I specified myself in the illustration modality at Escola Joso (Barcelona) and drawing and digital color techniques. Thus obtaining my diploma as an illustrator. The last two years I participated in the exhibition "Joves Talents de Blanes" at Casa Saladrigas, with other local artists as well as the exhibition "Art en Ruta". In 2019, I designed the advertising plan for the major party in Blanes and designed a Flores carpet for Corpus 2019. I am currently working on my professional illustration portfolio, as well as doing illustration commissions for clients and personalized portraits. You can see my last work of digital illustration printed for the advertising plans of the Festival Mayor de Blanes 2020 on my instagram!

In the first place, always adapt to the level of the student according to his age and ability in drawing, without pressure but establishing a methodology for progress and improvement, following the motivations of my student. Next, I like to get to know my student, the subjects that he is passionate about and take a tour of his drawings in order to establish a work methodology and exercises to focus on the advancement and techniques that interest him. Throughout the classes we will explore the progress and also the trajectory and improvement if the student wants to focus more on his career as an artist or not, as well as I can advise and listen to him to open up to the world of art. I specialize in traditional illustration and drawing, as well as mixed media and digital illustration, so I can adapt quite well to my student's tastes. The courses are for children from 4 to 8 years old, and from 8 to 12 years old. from basic level to an intermediate level or more advanced. * I also have a good level of English so I can teach in that language!
