About Anna
Like many artists, my story begins with me painting and drawing since before I can remember...This has led me to rigorously developing my skills through classes and informal practice on my own, as well as taking a number of art and design classes early on in college.
I am currently a student of psychology and hope to one day open up my own therapeutic art practice where I can help people through my skills!
I have been art tutoring for the past year or so, and love watching my students' abilities grow with them. If you have the fire of creativity in your heart and a love of all things art, then that might be you as well!

Art can be frustrating sometimes...maybe the pictures that you imagine yourself making don't turn out exactly right, and you aren't sure why.
That's where I come in! I'm Anna, and I had the same struggles until someone else taught me to hone my skills through understanding composition techniques, color theory, and more!
Students of mine should expect to see an increase in their technical skills and abilities, making painting and drawing come with ease. And the skills you will learn will be usable across a variety of mediums, not just sketching and painting!
Classes are for students grade 4-12!
A typical lesson with me will include an overview of what we learned during the previous lesson, and a guided tutorial centered on that day's lesson theme.
Students are encouraged to explore their own creativity, applying what they've learned, and showing me any work done outside of classroom time :)
