About Isidoro
I am currently a freelance criminal justice journalist with regular and ongoing contracted story assignments. My work is published in The Crime Report, a national criminal justice news source, the Juvenile Justice Information Exchange, and WNY/Gothamist. I received two awards for my academic achievements and nonfiction writing while pursuing my degree in English at the John Jay College of Criminal Justice, where I graduated with honors in 2017. In 2021, I was awarded a fellowship from the National Press Club for a three-part story on racism in policing.
