About Mathilde
I am graduated from a French engineering School, and I am currently in London doing a PhD in Imperial College. I have been tutoring students for 4 years, in maths, physics, chemestry and biology.
J'ai obtenu mon diplôme d'ingénieur à AgroParisTech, et maintenant je suis à Londres pour mon doctorat à Imperial College. Je donne des cours particuliers depuis 4 ans, et j'ai occasionnellement donné des cours à des petits groupes de 2 à 3 élèves. J'ai enseigné à des élèves qui étaient en classe de seconde, première et terminale. Je prépare aux examens du baccalauréat et du brevet.

I first discuss the needs of the student at the beginning of each session. Then, according to the needs of the student I make sure that the lesson is well understood, and I make him/her practice with exercises. I try as much as possible to use example from the daily life, to illustrate concepts that could be perceived as too theoretical.
Chaque cours se déroule en fonction des besoins de l'élève qui sont discutés au début du cours. Le déroulement le plus courant est en premier lieu une étude du cours pour s'assurer que l'élève ait compris le cours, puis nous passons aux exercices d'application de la leçon. J'essaie au maximum de rendre le cours vivant en donnant des exemples d'applications de la vie quotidienne aux concepts pouvant paraître théoriques.
