About Leah
Hello my name is Hialeah Martin
I am an upcoming freshman in Thurgood Marshall Acadamy in DC. I am really good at Math Science and History. I love what I am focusing on in my studies, I really want to help kids younger than me that struggle in those areas become better so that they can help others younger than them and it can become an ongoing cycle. but I also want to find a space where I can apply my other skills. I also would like to be kids emotional support system so they know that it will be easy to speak to me and that I'm just not their tutor Im also their friend and that I care how they feel and I won't force them to do something they don't want too

My teaching style is more so laid back because since I'm still a student I know what it's like for kids to not want to be with a teacher that is always yelling at them and things of that nature so I would teach the kids the things they need to know and have them do what they need to do while also being fun and having fun with them
