About Frey
I'm a pre-service teacher, so we'll be working together to improve both of our skills- yours in your particular study area, and mine in that of being your teacher. I am largely focused on helping you build your pre-existing skill set in learning, as well as introducing new study methods and seeing what works best for you and your needs. Much of this I will then be able to utilize in my own teaching practice, so we'll need to work together for it all to work.
I tend to focus on acting very casual and friendly with people, so while I'll be acting as a tutor and mentor, I aim to make sessions as engaging as possible while ensuring you are comfortable and enjoying the assistance I'm able to provide in your academic journey.

I operate through a very constructive teaching practice, where my goal is more focused on helping you build the skills needed to learn. I'll also help you edit and proof-read existing work, using your school's grading rubrics, in order to help you build the best results for your assessments!
Lessons will typically be an hour to an hour-and a half long, with a ten minute study break to allow you a chance to stretch and refresh before we resume each lesson, and I'll send you the lesson plans beforehand so you know what to expect.
I'd prefer to work with students in years 5-10, however am confident in working with students in years as low as year 1 all the way to year 12!
As a pre-service teacher, these lessons are as much for you as they are for me, as I will be building my skills to make me more of an effective classroom teacher. We'll be learning together, and I'm excited to see what we can accomplish together!
