About Dominic
I have six years' experience teaching at all undergraduate levels at three universities (UCL, University of Sussex, University of Gothenburg).
I've taken a lot of time and care marking essays over the years, so I know what examiners are looking for.
I am especially proud of my record as a dissertation supervisor: 21 of 44 of my Sussex finalists were awarded Firsts last year.
I've designed and convened large modules (40+ students), including third-year dissertation modules, so I know how things work from the inside.
I have an Associate Fellowship with the Higher Education Authority (HEA), which is a bit like a teacher training but at university level.
My research background is in modern and contemporary literature, but I have experience teaching a wide range of periods and topics, from medieval poetry to critical theory.
