I am a native from France(with a degree) and lived in the UK for the last 13 years. in the past few years I have concentrated in teaching my native language with people from many origins, doing one-to-ones, working with groups, teaching online and face-to-face. I love people who work hard to achieve what they want, they are the best students.
My passion is helping children and adults achieve their potential and rediscover their love of learning. I specialise in finding creative ways to make learning interactive, rewarding and fun! I find that when learners are motivated through exciting activities and challenges, they can achieve more than they thought possible.
I support students with a variety of SEN/ESOL needs with speaking, listening, reading and writing. I am friendly and enthusiastic with lots of fun games to keep learning exciting. I will tailor-make sessions for students depending on the level they are at.
I think teaching should be a shared experience between teacher and pupil, and should open up discussions and insight into various other topics in addition to the particular one it is addressing. With literature in particular, so much of the subject is based on having a good think or conversation about the texts to improve how you read it and what you end up writing about it.
My teaching methods change depending on who I am teaching. For example, when teaching school pupils I tend to follow their school's curriculum in order to provide a useful and practical service that benefits them the most. I give lessons to anyone studying for GCSE, A Level or anything else under a degree level. These are always 1-1 sessions, that go over current lessons in greater detail.
I work primarily with university students undertaking dissertations who need extra help and support.
I base my classes mostly in practising English Grammar lessons. Literature is also a part. I also would love to teach stories, poems and novels.
My teaching methodology has been based on exam requirements. In the past, have given each child a copy of a selection of the types of essay required in a non-fiction exam, and the aspects of content and SPaG their exam boards looked for.
I believe in positive reinforcement, making sure the student builds their confidence in order for them to reach those desired grades and be inspired to take on any challenges that lie ahead. I do various English exercises in my introductory session to find out what the student's weakness is and therefore build on this skill set.
I like to balance speaking, listening, writing and listening skills as I believe they're all important to helping you become a well-rounded English Language speaker. I love grammar and think it's really important but I also love conversational English and like to help my students achieve a natural sounding proficiency of language.
I would take care to pay attention to the students' needs and requirements and base my lecture on their level and understanding of the subject.
My teaching methods is having each class focused on a certain section of the dissertation, proof reading the essays, and references.
As a tutor, i enjoy a hands-on and flexible approach with my clients. Lessons are tailored around what suits the student best, with core components of reading tasks, mind maps, and critical analysis of texts being present in most sessions.
During my time as a tutor, I have invested time and effort into making sure that my lessons are creative, fun and ultimately interesting. I strive to ensure that my pupils want to learn what I'm teaching them and I believe creating an enthusiastic and creative environment will help them to enjoy and achieve.
I teach basic literacy and numeracy to KS1 children, help children with specific difficulties such as dyslexia and teach higher level skills to children in KS2. I have taught and assessed children for KS1 and 2 SATs so am very aware of the curriculum and it's expectations. I tailor my teaching to suit the needs of each individual child. I talk first to the parents and then the child.
My teaching method is to base topics around what the student feels they struggle with most as well as providing a broad overview to catch anything we might have missed. I think it's important to take into the students preferred learning method (visual, audio etc).
I am a very understanding teacher and would go at the pace of each student, would adapt my style to suit also
My teaching meth is unique because it works.
I approach each topic using slides, with enthusiasm and understanding of the pupils needs in order to nurture their potential.
Language is communication - people communicate......so people are language! The basics of any communication starts with the person - YOU! Tell me what you want to achieve. - Which subject(s) do you teach? - English - Voice and Vocal Coaching - Public Speaking and Presentations - Tell me about your qualifications.
I assess the criteria that the student is needing or seeking to fulfill, and work from there, building up their comprehension skills, vocabulary, grammar and interest in the topic. I can also teach multiple students at once. I will not only adapt my teaching methods to my students, but I will adapt them to new ways of thinking and understanding English.

I go chapter by chapter, I don't spoon feed, rather I teach my students to be more self sufficient and independent
I have different ways of teaching and different methods i work with each individual because everyone learns a different way.
My teaching method is one-on-one, patient and fun exercises in order to help retain facts and knowledge and develop methods that suit each individual in doing so.
The lesson structure will be dependent on the child’s age and current school topics. There will be a key topic or focus for each session, with a couple of activities and practice.
