About Emma

I am a recent UCL graduate in History of Art (BA First Class Hons) and I am an offer holder for an MA in Theatre Practice at Central School of Speech and Drama. I have experience teaching students online and have seen results through grade improvement.

About the lesson

I listen to the needs of each student as an individual and plan lessons in a style that will suit them. I am cheerful and patient, and understand that the subject can be difficult. I work with students, guided by their syllabus to improve their understanding of the subject, find enjoyment in the subject, and improve essay writing skills.

I have been engaging Emma in weekly art classes for my 10 year old niece, for some weeks. Emma has given her so much confidence and newly found enthusiasm for the arts. Emma has a very creative way of explaining everything, is beautifully patient and considerate in describing things to my niece that she may not be familiar with - she is positively beaming from her classes. Thanks Emma, not only have you given my niece a love of drawing and being creative, you have also given her a boost of self confidence during this terrible time - and who doesn't need that in their life!
