About Bisma
Hi, I'm Bisma. A Physical Therapist, and I've been tutoring kids and teens for the past 3 years alongside it — it actually started almost by accident, helping a neighbor's kid with English, and I just kept going because I liked it.
Most of the kids I've worked with come in thinking they're "just bad at English." Almost always, it turns out no one ever slowed down enough to explain it in a way that made sense to them — once that happens, the confidence follows fast, usually within a few sessions.
I'm patient by nature, and I don't believe in making anyone feel dumb for not getting something the first time. I also speak Urdu and Pashto, so we're never stuck if English alone isn't working.
