About Amardeep
Hi, I'm Amardeep, a 19-year-old English tutor based in Oldbury. Having recently completed my own GCSEs and A-Levels, I have a fresh and thorough understanding of the current English Language and Literature curriculum and exam techniques. I am passionate about helping GCSE students boost their confidence, improve their essay writing, and achieve their target grades through patient, structured, and supportive lessons tailored to their exam board e.g. OCR, AQA and Pearson Edexcel.

So I have an array of techniques to my teaching
For literature e.g. Macbeth we will use PEALL this is a 5 step to success. Point, Evidence, Analysis, Layers and Link. This is used in question answers. The typical length is 1 hour however we can adjust it if you need more time. My expertise is that a student needs one-to-one tutoring sometimes in lessons the whole group doesn’t understand key concepts of the subject and because there are so many of you it’s hard to get around all of you so having the one-to-one allows yourself to ask questions that you’re not sure about and how we can help you achieve the desired grade you want. Lessons are for the following years 9-11 GCSE
