About Sema
I am a motivated and reliable tutor with a strong background in analytical thinking, mathematics, and problem solving. At 17, I moved to Italy to study abroad, which strengthened my independence, adaptability, and discipline. Alongside my academic path, I have developed skills in data analysis, Python, public speaking, and teamwork, all of which support my ability to explain complex ideas clearly.
I am passionate about helping students not only improve their grades but also build confidence and a deeper understanding of subjects like maths, statistics, and physics. I understand that many students struggle because concepts are not explained in the right way, so I focus on clarity, patience, and structured learning.
I take professionalism seriously: I prepare lessons carefully, communicate clearly, and create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions. My goal is to help each student become more independent, confident, and capable in their learning journey.

My lessons are focused on building real understanding, not memorisation. I explain concepts step-by-step, using simple language, visual examples, and practical exercises so students gain confidence quickly. I adapt my teaching style to each student’s needs and learning pace.
A typical lesson lasts 60 minutes and includes explanation, guided practice, and problem-solving together. I also help with homework, exam preparation, and study strategies.
I teach mathematics, statistics, and physics for middle school, high school, SAT preparation, and beginner university level students. As an international student with a strong analytical background, I understand the challenges students face and aim to create a supportive, motivating learning environment where mistakes are part of learning.
