My aim as a physics tutor is to engage the student's interest in the subject so that they want to learn more, rather than feel obligated to. This will lead to confidence and independence in their learning.
I will base my lessons off the syllabus of my students. However each student is different and the key thing is finding out what they want help with and this is where I will guide them. I am most familiar with OCR A physics a level, however a lot of the content is the same across all exam boards therefore my main focus will be to give the student a firm grounding of the core principles in physics and, depending on the age of the student, focus past paper questions. This is the most effective form of putting what students learn into context and preparing them for the exams that will show their real potential.
