About Cameron
My name is Cameron and I have just finished 4 A-Levels at Camden School for Girls. I am going to Bristol University to study a Master's in Engineering Mathematics next year. I decided I wanted to become a tutor after doing work experience teaching maths to small groups of primary school students, when I realised that I enjoyed helping them and I loved seeing their confidence in the subject grow. I think that a strong grasp of the basics of method-based subjects such as maths and physics is the most important thing, and I pride myself in being good at explaining things both verbally and visually, and the other knowledge can then be built upon this strong foundation. I have also learnt that working hard from as early as possible is key, as well as good organisation - things which I have put into practice during my own education and believe I can pass on to my tutees. Having achieved 3 A*s and an A in my A-levels, I believe I will be able to help take students at any ability to the next level. I taught Cameron for two years for his Physics A-level and was always impressed with his professionalism, hard work and positive attitude towards learning. He was always very helpful in lessons, supporting students who were struggling and he was very good at explaining complex material in an easy to follow and correct manner.
