About Kathryn
I have a good rapport with my students, whether face to face or online and I am committed to helping them achieve their personal best. I have 8 years experience as an in person tutor and I am skilled in use of online platforms. I communicate with parents via multi media including email, text, by telephone and face to face. This comes from years of experience of report writing, telephone and email conversations and parents’ evenings.

I am an experienced and well qualified teacher of 21 years. Previously I have been a teaching fellow in UCL and more recently Oxford University. During my career I have amassed a considerable body of knowledge of Chemistry and the Biological Sciences, also Physics, Maths, Statistics and Database management. I have a sound grasp of current GCSE and A level exam board specifications and have previously examined Unified Chemistry for A level (OCR). My teaching methods are fully inclusive of special educational need, and in average I can offer a two grade improvement.
