About Ashlyn
I am hoping to gain more experience of teaching through this platform. I find it intriguing learning about individual learning skills, and being able to use these findings in my future classrooms. Developing a positive and welcoming environment is my first key to creating a great ethic with my students. Creating and building upon their specific skills, while improving areas that will help them succeed in their learning.
I have been told I am a natural teacher. I feel speaking to students with respect will bring forth a lot more motivation. I love giving positive praise and helping individuals make goals that are specific and achievable.
Children are my main group of teaching, though I have tutored up to age 16 (grade 10) at a local tutor center in the past. I have helped these students mostly with grammar, sentence structure, and essay formats.

I truly cannot recommend Ashlyn enough. She has tutored my two children (ages 8 and 11) for the past two years and we have the most love for her. She brings so much light and fun to the lessons, the kids always look forward to seeing her.
