About the lesson

Funkcore: Where The Funk Gets Heavy
Hello Patrons! Get ready for Funkcore—the genre where the infectious, syncopated rhythms of old-school funk collide head-on with the blistering shred and technical precision of heavy metal.

This is my personal formula, mixing the genius groove of Prince with the explosive fire of legends like Eddie Van Halen, Vai, and Dimebag, all filtered through modern, high-gain methods in Drop C# and Drop D tunings.

Like the technical heroes of modern metal—guitarists such as Diamond Rowe (Tetrarch), Jesse Cash (ERRA), Mike Stringer (Spiritbox), and John Browne (Monuments)—I believe in pushing the instrument past its limits. We're applying that modern, technical dexterity to the funkiest grooves you've ever heard.

The Funkcore Course is your all-access pass to this new technique. You'll get tabs, scale exercises, backing tracks, and special insights on advanced skills like tapping, pinched harmonics, and bluesy boomer bends.

Jump in and take the Funkcore course today! Let's shred with soul!
