About Ghisell
Hi, I'm Ghisell! I am a bilingual English and Spanish tutor who is passionate about helping students learn with confidence. I graduated from high school with my associate's degree and am currently pursuing a medical degree. Throughout school, I gained valuable tutoring experience by helping classmates understand challenging subjects, and I also volunteered in educational settings, including summer camps and schools.
I believe that learning should be encouraging, interactive, and tailored to each student's individual needs. I am patient, reliable, and committed to creating a positive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes as they learn.
Whether you are just beginning, need extra support for school, or want to improve your English or Spanish communication skills, I will work with you at your own pace and help you build both your knowledge and your confidence. Hi! My name is Ghisell, and I am a bilingual English and Spanish speaker who is passionate about helping students learn in a way that is simple, engaging, and stress-free. I believe every student learns differently, so I adapt my teaching style to match each person's needs, learning pace, and goals.
My lessons begin by identifying what the student already knows and the areas they want to improve. From there, I explain concepts step by step using clear examples, interactive practice, and real-life situations. I encourage students to ask questions throughout the lesson because I want them to truly understand the material rather than just memorize it.
A typical lesson includes a quick review of previous topics, learning a new concept, guided practice together, independent exercises, and a short recap to reinforce what was learned. I also provide helpful tips and study strategies to help students continue improving outside of class.
What sets me apart is my patience, supportive teaching style, and ability to explain difficult topics in a way that is easy to understand.
