About Saira
I am a confident, hardworking and well driven individual who works to their full ability and executes their targets.
I am a gap year student who is offering my experience to students studying for the new GCSE's 9-1. I am new to tutoring as I have been in education myself, and have decided to take a gap year to help students who need help with revision and gaining the grades they would need for further education.
I have achieved both a 6 (B) in English Literature and Maths in GCSE. I was the first year to sit these new exams so I have experience of how they are structured.
Throughout secondary school and even college (especially during sociology (an essay based subject)), I have learnt to try out and find different techniques which helped me find the best way for me to write and perfect an essay including all the key and extra points.

I plan to teach my students through the way they memorise the best (visual, auditory or kinesthetic). I make the lessons fun and engaging, to make it feel to the student that its enjoyable to sit in the lesson.
I would cover the content thoroughly, going through the spec in detail, asking the student what they feel they need more targeted help with to focus on. From there, memorising texts, quotes and formulas and putting into practise what I've taught them, for example writing essays and using official marking schemes to grade their pieces of work.
