My teaching style is to show enthusiasm for the session and deliver content in a friendly and motivating way. I believe it is important for the student to think for themselves, whilst being supported to reach their full potential, finding a balance between pushing for success and reflecting on progress. My priority is to engage and excite the student in the subject, igniting a passion in them that makes them want to learn more. In my experience, you learn the most from people who genuinely enjoy their subject and have the ability to communicate their passion to students and I hope to emulate this and pass it onto others.
I have been in education for 17 years and have learnt a thing or two about how to learn, and how to teach. I have taught and been taught in many different styles; during the coronavirus pandemic, I have learnt to adapt my teaching to inspire and engage online. I have supported students through their GCSE's and have been through A-Levels and 3 years of university myself, I am well versed in how the education system works.
