About Amy
Hi! I'm a sixth form student studying biology, psychology and health and social care, hoping to pursue psychology and neuroscience at university.
Since I recently completed my GCSEs I know how stressful it can be to not feel prepared and that's why I want to help other students. I achieved Grade 9s in Biology and Maths and Grade 8s in Chemistry, Physics and English Literature.
I always found the best way I learnt concepts was by breaking them down into simpler explanations, especially by using diagrams and real-life analogies. Since every student learns differently, I adapt my teaching to suit them and ensure they can understand topics.
My aim is to make learning and revising engaging, easier for students and reduce pre exam stress so they can achieve the best grades they can.

I offer GCSE tutoring for students aged 14-16, specifically in Biology, Maths and English Literature but I can also do Chemistry and Physics. I am currently at A-Level studying biology, psychology and health and social care, so I understand current specifications and exam techniques needed to achieve the top grades. I achieved grade 9s in Biology and Maths, and Grade 8s in Chemistry, Physics and English Literature.
I adapt my lessons to suit each student's needs. I specifically like to use diagrams, visual explanations and real-life analogies to help students understand more challenging concepts. I also focus on exam practice and revision strategies.
Lessons can be between 30-60 minutes and are available online.
