About Ellen
Hi, I'm Ellen. I'm a Medical Science (Genetics) student at UNSW, now completing my Honours research in neurogenetics at the Garvan Institute. I love biology and enjoy making complex concepts simple, engaging, and memorable. Everyone learns differently, so I adapt my tutoring style to suit each student and keep working with them until we find an explanation that really clicks. Whether you need help with biology, report writing, exam preparation, or understanding tricky scientific concepts, I'd love to help you achieve your goals.

I believe everyone has their own way to learn, and it requires time and getting to know the student. I am a patient teacher, and am always looking at new pathways and methods for learning. I am interested in tutoring primary through the erly university students in biology. I received an HD average in my Medical Science undergrad, majoring in genetics. I am now undertaking an honours project at the Garvan Institute of Research in Neurotranscriptomics, with plans of starting a PhD in 2027. I have an abundance of experience in report writing and lab work, and have tutored my cousins in biology for years.
