About Meg

I am a second-year Geography student passionate about inspiring the next generation of geographers. My academic background equips me with a deep understanding of both physical and human geography, which I strive to impart through engaging and interactive teaching methods. I focus on making geography relatable and exciting, using real-world examples and multimedia resources to enhance learning. My goal is to foster critical thinking and a love for the subject in my students. I am committed to creating a supportive and stimulating learning environment, helping students achieve their full potential and develop a lifelong interest in geography.

About the lesson

As a geography tutor for GCSE and A-level, I would employ a student-centred approach, focusing on interactive and engaging techniques like case studies, real-world examples, and multimedia resources. My teaching methodology includes breaking down complex concepts into manageable parts, encouraging critical thinking, and fostering a love for the subject through discussions and practical applications. Lessons typically last 60-90 minutes, allowing time for thorough exploration of topics and practice questions. I hold a degree in Geography and have over five years of tutoring experience. My lessons are tailored for secondary school students, aged 14-18, aiming to boost their understanding and exam performance.
