My teaching method is proactive, friendly, approachable and very patient. I believe learning truly comes from not only understanding, but also enjoying the subject.
I base my classes on being conversational with the student, asking lots of questions and inviting them to engage in every lesson and teaching point, especially during case studies.
The classes are always tailored to the individual student and their own specific learning styles.
I approach each topic with enthusiasm and excitement as I really do enjoy teaching and I find it incredibly rewarding seeing each student progress.
I have achieved a 2:1 degree in Geography at The University of Exeter (UK top 10) and a Masters Distinction in Real Estate at Oxford Brooks University (top 2 for the course).

Joe is more than just your standard tutor. Deeply knowledgeable of his subject area whilst also patient to ensure understanding. 5 stars will 100% use again
I've know Joe for ~8 years now, as a team mate and now close friend. He's passionate, driven, and dedicated to anything he puts his mind too. I'm sure he will make a great teacher as he's friendly and approachable, and loves seeing people improve their skills.
Very friendly and approachable. Really engaging and personable! Clear, concise and thoughtful with his delivery!
Joseph is polite, personable and has excellent Geographical knowledge having studied up to University level. He has great communication skills and an engaging style of teaching. Would highly recommend
Joe is an excellent teacher. He is able to adapt to all knowledge levels and explains even the most complex topics in a clear and simple way. He is very positive and funny making learning enjoyable and informative.
Have been friends with Joseph for a long time, and he is a reliable and trustworthy individual. I also happened to study with him at University where he really excelled as a Geographer. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend him as a tutor.
Joseph was really approachable in his style of tutoring and listened well.
He was very thorough in his teaching style and explained things succinctly. If I didn't understand something, he found a different way of explaining a methodology to help contextualise it in a way that helped me.
He spent time going through course work and essays with me, to help me understand which areas could be improved, why and how this could be done. He explained his marking and my grade against the grading criteria to give me a holistic view of my work.
His communication skills were excellent and he was very articulate in his teaching without over complicating things.
Joseph helped me with both my human and physical a level geography to achieve an A* in both, and I continued to have his tutoring throughout my university studies, whereby he helped me achieve a 2:1 Ba (Hons) from Durham university.
I would highly recommend Joseph as a tutor, he is friendly, professional, methodical with his teaching and adapted to my needs and explained everything incredibly well to help me broaden my understanding and ultimately achieve my goals.
